CA Access Control r12.5 Beta Program

Key Features:

- Privileged User Password Management (PUPM) capabilities that can help manage shared IDs and application IDs across the IT environment beyond servers such as routers, by storing passwords securely, controlling access to these passwords, and managing them.
- UNIX Authentication Broker that allows UNIX and Linux servers to be managed by MS Active Directory. This can help significantly to reduce the cost of managing OS accounts by enabling UNIX accounts to be managed through AD.

Both of these new capabilities are complementary to AC’s core capabilities and can be deployed independently of the core AC product. PUPM is an agent-less solution and UNAB is a light agent that can run with or without AC. Both of these solutions have a very strong ROI, by reducing the mgmt costs of users and automating password changes to shared IDs and applications IDs, and at the same time positively contribute to the compliance posture of the organization – The CISO‘s dream!

Working together with the core access control product, the new CA Access Control Enterprise Management web console now provides a single console for managing all aspects of privileged user management including privileged user password management, super user access management, auditing, and reporting.
