Hello CA Clarity Global User Community Members, <p> We are seeking nominations from the CA Clarity users in this community, who are interested in serving as a member of the CA Clarity Global User Community Board. The primary role of the board is to act as the voice of the global user community by providing leadership in supporting member’s interests, acting as the liaison with CA, and to support and encourage growth of local user groups. <p> These Global User Community board positions are being offered to you, as CA Clarity users. All members of the CA Clarity Global User Community will vote for the candidates of their choice. <p> We ask each candidate to provide a bio (template attached) with a picture, if available, and a brief description as to why you wish to serve as a board officer. All bios will be reviewed by the entire Global User Community membership. <p> Global User Community governance is owned by officers of the board & its members. For your Global User Community, the board will be representing the entire virtual product line community member base, including local user groups and users who do not have local groups in their area. This governing body will be responsible for these types of functions. <p> <UL> <LI type="circle">Develops and monitors budget <LI type="circle">Has fiduciary responsibility of the Global User Community <LI type="circle">Maintain communication channel with CA's Customer Program office, local user groups, Global User Community members, and the Clarity development lab <LI type="circle">Facilitate the prioritization and voting of certain product enhancement requests <LI type="circle">Support local user group activities as seen appropriate by the Global User Community Board </UL> Serving a 2 year term, the Global User Community Board will need to have a minimum of 3 Officers and a maximum of 6 officers, as deemed necessary to govern your Global User Community. These include: <p> <ul> <li><b>President:</b> The president shall be the principal executive officer of the Global User Community and shall, in general, supervise all of the affairs of the Global User Community. This person shall preside at all meetings of the respective Board. <LI><b>Vice President:</b> In the absence of the president or in the event of his inability or refusal to act, the Global User Community vice president shall perform the duties of the president, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the president. <li><b>Secretary:</b> The secretary shall keep the meeting minutes of the Global User Community Board; see that all notices are duly given; be custodian of the records; and in general perform all duties incident to the office of the secretary with regard to the Global User Community and perform such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the president or the Board. <li><b>Treasurer:</b> If required by the Board, the Global User Community treasurer shall give a bond for the faithful discharge of his duties in such sum and with such surety or sureties as the Global User Community Board shall determine.
