CA Technologies is proud to announce the general availability of APM 10.3, it's most E.P.I.C. APM release ever!  Working with Team Center and WebView is faster and Easier.  New JMS messaging metrics put queue managers in the driver's seat, Proactively ahead of many common production problems.  Intelligent LDAP integration lowers the cost of ownership, while better automatic alerting sets teams up to Collaborate without requiring complex threshold configuration.

Did you know that CA’s APM software engineering teams span the globe, including team members in Prague, Hyderabad, Santa Clara, Framingham, and more?  Whether you’re sleeping or at play, there’s bound to be a crack CA Technologies developer focused on making your application performance management life better right at that instant.

While the team puts big effort into major releases, they refine and amplify the value of their work with minor ones.  CA APM 10.3 is a great example of the results that ensue.

Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) is a core discipline for application developers.  The enhanced JMS metrics in CA APM 10.3 make managing complex messaging architectures easier.  Enhanced JMS monitoring gives you key metrics on your topics and queues, message reception, temporaries, and even cross-process tracing.

Also in 10.3, Team Center dashboards feature embedded Details panes, fusing the best of Team Center Perspectives with the Team Center dashboard experience.  WebView also gets time control widgets for a sleeker historical data browsing experience.

In Team Center, you can now integrate the user security model with enterprise LDAP, a relief from the separate user administration previously required.

Want to start tracing transaction in response to a broken alert threshold? Frustrated with shell scripting solutions? APM now has a built-in alert action designed for triggering a transaction trace.   And Differential Analysis will now automatically trigger tracing on any response time metric (no longer just frontends).

CA APM 10.3 has many more features that you can find in the official release notes here.  The entire CA APM team hopes you enjoy it, and looks forward to your feedback!
