We have certified SQL Server 2016 for use with CA Gen 8.5. There is no specific PTF required to enable this support. Note, however, that certification testing is done using the then current maintenance level of the Gen release in question.
SQL Server 2016 was previously certified for CA Gen 8.6.
The Technical Requirements and associated documents have been updated to reflect this certification.
