Stephen_Slaughter Meet_Stephen_Slaughter2.jpgwas recruited directly from Drexel University in Philadelphia where he earned a Masters in Software Engineering. In the summer of 2013, he packed his things and moved to Plano, Texas to begin his career with CA as a Support Engineer.

Stephen focuses on supporting the product, CA Automation Point.  He is an active member of the The specified item was not found. community and has started blogging for CA. Follow Stephen's blog here: Untitled

“What keeps me at CA is the culture, the challenge, the recognition, and the fun!”

During his time at CA, he and his team have learned to focus on delivering a consistently faster resolution with a higher quality for a great customer experience. Stephen believes that the communities are a great tool for the CA support teams.

“The communities allow us to share our expertise with customers and elevate their experience, particularly in terms of self service."

Stephen also recognizes the power behind reading knowledge articles.

“They contain technical information not found in the manuals; this will enable customers to self serve and solve simple issues faster so that engineers can focus on solving difficult problems.

Outside of work Stephen enjoys boxing, public speaking with his fellow Toastmasters, building homes with Habitat for Humanity, and going to church on Sunday. Most recently Stephen has announced his engagement to the love of his life. But don't worry mom, Texas may have won his heart, but Stephen plans frequent trips back home to Philly to visit his family.
