Once a month we'll shine our virtual spotlight on one of the CA Workload Automation community's members. It's just a fun, easy way for us to get to know one another a little bit beyond our work-related interactions here on the site. This month, we're featuring Anthony Aksew ( Antony_Askew.1 ). profile-image-display.jpg

Location: UK or wherever I’m sent.

Current Gig:  CA Technologies Practice Manager for Extra Technology. We are a CA Technologies Advanced Partner/Preferred Sales Partner and we specialise in all kinds of areas, Workload Automation and DevOps especially.  But we’re OK really.

One word that describes how you work: Collaboratively

How do you use CA Communities and any suggestions for others?

CA Communities helps me to keep abreast of latest product developments, to understand the issues that other people are having, to look for and support great ideas and best practices, and to feel connected with similar people.

Mac or PC? Mac

Mobile Device? Windows Phone – Lumia 640

Apps/software/tools you can’t live without?

In no particular order: VMWare, Skype, Twitter, TextWrangler, OneNote

Besides your phone and computer, what's your favorite item?

My bicycle – Cannondale Synapse 105; great bike, shame about the guy pedalling it.

What’s your daily work space like?

2 monitors, coffee, Macbook, headphones, more coffee.

How do you balance life/work?

Keep work and life appointments all in one calendar, so I can see the clashes coming up.  In the event of over work, stop and take the dog for a walk.

Best advice you can give and you have received?

There’s nowt so ***** as folk.

What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else? Absolutely nothing – nobody is the “best” at anything
