What brought you to CA?

A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… I was working a job that was OK. It allowed me some problem solving but not enough of the problem solving and socializing that I like. I have been trained in customer service and I really like the feeling that I get when helping someone solve a problem. I found CA support and thought this role fits my skills of supporting software and allows for more problem solving, I joined CA and have never looked back.

 

Why is the CA Security Community valuable to you and the customers you serve?

Communities are about give and take. Sometimes I have information and I can give, sometimes I need information this helps us as support engineers close tickets faster. There have been at least two support issues where I was searching google for the error and a communities post was found with the answer. Another example is, if a customer opens a support ticket and I work that support ticket only that customer benefits from it, with a  communities post everyone can benefit, not just me or the customer but also people that are configuring third party products that have nothing to do with CA may come across our posts and it could help them as well.

 

Favorite dessert:Pumpkin Pie, no explanation needed, it truly is the perfect dessert.

 

Favorite 3 movies of all time: This is tough… I watch a lot of movies.

Ohm Shanti Ohm -  My wife who is Nepali introduced me to Shah Rukh Khan, and I must say… Much better than Rajinikanth.

Man On Fire -  This movie is all about protecting your own, and the lengths someone will go to do so.

Chicken Little – Really one of the first movies I watched with my son, I am glad. You gotta listen to your children.

 

Favorite hobbies/interests: Anything that lets me tinker. I like sitting at my workbench and fixing things, like my loved ones dropped phones.

 

If you were an animal, which animal would you be and why?

A house cat, they seem to have it figured out. Do not confuse my answer with this being my favorite pet, Dogs are.
