CA Privileged Access Manager Tech Tip by Kelly Wong, Principal Support Engineer for 10th October 2017

Issue

@PasswordViewRequest.getStartDate@ and @PasswordViewRequest.getEndDate@ used in One Click Approval Email Template always displayed in UTC time, despite that we have updated the Credential Manager to use different time zone (UI Settings and User Preferences).

For example:

Do not reply to this email.
A password view request has been submitted with the following details:
Requestor : xxxxxxxxxxx
Requested Account: xxxxxxxxxxx
Requested Account Target Application Name: xxxxxxxxxxx
Requested Account Target Server: xxxxxxxxxxx
Requested Account Target Device Name: xxxxxxxxxxx

SSO Type: Any
Request Reason: Other (One-click access required)
Start Date: 2017-08-15 03:30 UTC
End Date: 2017-08-15 03:40 UTC

Resolution

The issue will be addressed with PAM 2.8.4 release.

@PasswordViewRequest.getStartDate@ and @PasswordViewRequest.getEndDate@ will be displayed according to preferred time zone.
