Location:  Hyderabad, India

Current Gig:  Principal Product Manager, CA Service Management

One word that describes how you work:  Collaboratively

How do you use CA Communities and any suggestions for others?  I use CA Communities mostly for product ideation and announcements, but I would like to spend more time reading the posts as there is always so much in them to learn about how a product is being used.

Mac or PC?  Mac

Mobile Device? Android. Currently using Google Nexus 6P. No plans to switch to iPhone ever

Apps/software/tools you can’t live without? Outlook, WhatsApp, Kindle, TripAdvisor, Banking Apps, Google Keep

Besides your phone and computer, what's your favorite gadget? Digital SLR

What’s your daily work space like? A clean desk with my Macbook Air and Cisco phone.

How do you balance life/work?  I figured there is no ‘balance’.  So now I have a single backlog for work and life that undergoes continuous value-based prioritisation.

Best advice you can give and you have received? Perseverance is key to success. When it comes to communicating with people - listen, think, talk in that order.

What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else? There is always going to be someone better in all the areas that I consider myself good at. I guess what I don’t see often in people around me is the ability to constantly learn from others, that may be the one.

One word that describes how you work: Party! (I work in the same way as I party! Hard and listening to electronic music. Yes, everyone ask me how I manage to listen to it all day long…)

How do you use CA Communities and any suggestions for others? I use CA Communities to get access to an amazing collection of powerful brains! I try to figure out everything by myself before asking out. And when I ask on the forum, I try to provide a context to help the other find a solution.

Mac or PC? PC

Mobile Device? Windows Phone! Lumia 1020, waiting for my Lumia 950 XL.

Apps/software/tools you can’t live without? Notepad++

Besides your phone and computer, what's your favorite gadget? My DJ Controller. (Yep, electronic music) and my Microsoft Band.

What’s your daily work space like? Monstruous laptop with 3 screen. Two incredible coworkers, one more mature and the other one always throwing out p*nis jokes…

How do you balance life/work? Unless major problem, or project delivery, work stop at 5pm!

Best advice you can give and you have received? Walk to the other side of the problem, and take a look at it from another viewpoint. (I’m not sure how this one will sound in English since it’s almost a direct translation from French but anyway.)

What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else? Make people laugh.

Location: I work in the Islandia, NY office for CA, and I live in Franklin Square, NY

Current Gig:  Principal Support Engineer for the CA Service Management family of products – focused on CA Service Desk Manager

One word that describes how you work: Action – make it happen!

How do you use CA Communities and any suggestions for others? I use the communities as a venue and mechanism to get out there and talk with customers.  I like to read about what customers are trying to do, and how they are using the products.  I spend some time at the start of every work day going through the posts and answering what I can.  It’s a great way for customers to talk to each other, and share experiences, and tips/tricks for getting the most value out of the products.  It is also a great way to keep up with what’s going on in the customer world as well as internally.

Mac or PC?

Both! I use a mac at home for the most part, along with my iPhone and iPad, they work together nicely. I do also have several Windows machines at home too which I use for different things.  At work, I am a Windows guy, working mostly on Windows Server environments.

Mobile Device? iPhone and iPad

Apps/software/tools you can’t live without? Shared Google Calendar (shared between my wife and I to keep track of things), AnyList – a shared shopping list app, and Pandora – I love music!

Besides your phone and computer, what's your favorite gadget? I have several - Audio systems, Cars, Cameras

What’s your daily work space like? I like a clean workspace without any clutter – I hate clutter!  I work from my CA laptop which sits on a docking station connected to three monitors.  I love having the three monitors – it allows me to multi-task and get a lot more done while keeping an eye on the things I need to monitor.

How do you balance life/work? Ahhh – the Golden Question!  My wife and I both work full time and long hours.  My wife travels about 30% for work, so this balance is always a tough game for us having a 4 year old in pre-k.  We have it down to a science these days by planning out about a month at a time if possible so we know who has to do what, and when, and who has to be where and when, hence the google calendar. Out of all the people we know in similar situations, I have to admit that we are a pretty good team, and are always able to make it happen

Best advice you can give and you have received? Always be infectiously positive.  – Someone once told me that a long time ago.  I live by it and share it with others too.  People always remember the negative, but only sometimes remember the positive – so be infectiously positive!  Negativity breeds too quickly!!

What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else? Multi-Tasking, Making Lemonade when someone hands me lemons, and organizing chaos.
