Register for the ITSM Virtual Summit before March 23rd and be entered to win an Apple Watch!

Each year we host an ITSM virtual summit which gives you an opportunity to hear from industry thought leaders  (i.e. Forrester, Ovum, ITSMF, HDI, Pink Elephant) and experts at CA Technologies. This year we have a great list of speakers and sessions, but along with that, we have an exciting prize for early registrants. An Apple Watch giveaway (see T&C) for anyone that registers before March 23rd.

To enter the contest, you can (a) register for the Summit on BrightTALK by March 23rd and attend any/multiple sessions or (b) tweet something interesting about the event using the hashtag #ITSMSummit (see T&Cs). Of course, doing both will increase your chances.

About the Virtual Summit

The CA ITSM Virtual Summit is a great way to learn about top trends and latest best practices from industry thought-leaders.  In this ITSM Virtual Summit, you’ll hear experts discuss how to provide users with a simple way to connect with IT.   You’ll learn how to deliver services in a way that users expect in an app economy.   The future of ITSM is built for speed, and designed for humans.  Embrace the team, not the ticket.

Register now and secure your seat, and a chance to win a new gadget!

Enjoy the Virtual Summit!

Thanks,

It’s Wednesday, and you are just going through your day, keeping pace with resolving new helpdesk tickets. But then – you see a ticket assigned to

you that has an insane request in it. What do you do? You sit there in silence dealing with the aftershock.

Does it feel like no one is there to experience this moment with you?

You may laugh, cry or just be entertained, not able to share your experience with others that may have similar HORROR/FUNNY/SHOCKING stories to tell...

Here is your short window of opportunity to share that crazy story with the rest of the ITSM community...

Tell us about the Craziest Ticket you’ve ever received, and you’ll have a shot at getting a free pass to CA World®‘15 in Las Vegas with a free therapy

  session. There, we said it.

To enter, simply type your response below in the comments section. Easy enough, right? All entries are subject to the Contest Terms and Conditions.

Submissions need to be made by no later than Oct 2nd and winners will be announced by Oct 8th – giving the winner enough time to plan the trip.

We encourage you to vote for each entry by giving it a "Like". This will help us determine the most popular entries which we will

use as one of the indicators to select a winner.

To get you started, here is one story we thought was hilarious...

“Craziest ticket I received was from an employee who received a new company Mac and was in the process of setting it up. Whenever he moved the mouse right, it moved left, and

when he moved it left it would go right. I asked him which way the Apple logo was facing, he said it was facing away from him. I told him to turn around the mouse, and that it was

backwards and he didn’t say a single word after that and just hung up ...”

  Good luck,

Hello CA Service Management Community,

New CA Service Management Survey

Today the CA Service Management Product Team launched a survey designed to gain insight into changes and challenges our customers are facing delivering optimal service and support experiences to their business consumers, IT teams and management.  The results of this survey may be used for validating product direction and strategy, marketing message and more.

3rd-party email from TechValidate

We partnered with industry expert, TechValidate, who is administering the survey and ensuring the process is transparent and the outcomes non-biased.  This survey is being sent to a random group of CA Service Management customers via an email from our Community Lead, Chris Hackett, a CA employee. The email points to a TechValidate protected site hosting the survey. Please note that if you receive this email, this is not spam; it is a valid email from the CA Service Management Team.

We appreciate your time and effort should you receive this email and complete the survey.

Thank you!
