Community Update: Community Webcast, An Introduction, The Water Cooler and Available Training

I thought that it might be useful for me to put together some updates once a week to share with all of you, so we'll try it out for a few weeks and see how it works for us. It'll be a way for me to share any new or updates for the CA Workload Automation community.

We have just a few items this week:

  • First is another reminder about this week's Workload Automation (Dist.) GUC Webcast which begins at 11 a.m. EDT tomorrow.
  • Next, I'd like to introduce all of you to Chris_Stallone a new community manager on the CA Communities team who will be helping me with the data management and mainframe communities. He joined the team just before the move to the new platform and he's been a great addition to the team already. His focus will be some of the operational things that go on behind the scenes to keep the site in top form, but he'll also serve as my back up if I'm out of the office or unavailable. Please welcome him to the community!
  • Next, I know that some of you have already discovered The Water Cooler community, which replaces the old CA Community Feedbackcommunity. It's a place for you to go and ask questions, offer advice to other members and learn more about the platform itself as well as the best ways to use it.
  • The Water Cooler is also where you'll find a lot of great Training resources. In particular, I'd recommend that you check out the portions aboutYour CA Communities Profile , Getting to Know the CA Communities Homepage, Following Communities and People and setting up yourPreferences, which will determine what community content and notifications are sent directly to your email.
  • I'd also encourage you to take part in our community ideation: CA Workload Automation Ideas You can either vote on existing ideas to make CA's workload automation products better, or submit your own.

That's it for this week. I hope you have a good and productive work week! As always, let me know if you have any questions or comments!
