New community members are surging in quicker than ever. Long standing community members have been greeting them with open arms and “Showing them the ropes.” What are the ultimate goals now for the community? The CA Communities team hopes to get dedicated community members to a “legend” status, known in the community and within CA for their tireless efforts, and the community’s team becoming a “legend” of customer success and knowledge within CA Technologies 13,000+ employees around the world.
After much hard work, blood, sweat, and tears, steps are finally in place for members to become the Batman. With no true superpowers, relying on incredible intelligence, strategy, and dedication. Batman is known for his endless gadgets, the community platform is your utility belt, the ability to post events, videos, blogs, discussions, ideas, questions and polls to name a few to the communities. Having a plan for everything may be Batman’s greatest asset, these content tools allow the communities team for greater planning than ever before, bringing new types of content in at a much faster rate. Learning the ins and outs of the new community platform will take time for both the communities’ team and community members, much like Bruce Wayne took time to become the Batman, but will truly be worth the time and effort.
The last step in this progression is the one who can inspire us to be better than we believe we can be, Superman. The Superman of communities does not exist. Will it ever? Superman is close to a god, at his pinnacle he is perfect, unbeatable, and the mere sight of him inspires others. A community at this point is perfect. Individuals are completely united, shouting your name in the street, and wearing t-shirts with your symbol. An organization that had support like this would have every other company, cause, community and organization looking to them for inspiration, this is the top of the tier, and you are the symbol for everything that is just and right. Superman’s father said “You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.” Now our community members and community are that much closer to the sun.
