CA Communities Migration - Issue Tracking
I don't see the issue with the wrong (or no) timezone being set when exporting events. This was discussed in the comments for an idea (Ability to set timezone when creating calendar events) and SamCreek confirmed it as a platform bug. Even though it can't be fixed by CA, shouldn't it be on the list to track progress?
We will update the issue tracking document. This is being tracked with Jive and was missed in the document. This is scheduled for fixing this summer.
