'CADRE INDUCTS FIRST FIVE INTO 'WALL OF FAME' In Las Vegas last week at CA World, CADRE announced the first class of five to be inducted into the CADRE Wall of Fame. After tallying the vote by the membership the five individuals were announced. The five are: Clyde McPherson – US Customs, Kevin Shuma, CA VP & Product Owner for the Datacom Family of Products, Don Axon, Former President of CADRE & CA DBA for Datacom, Karina Pulinx, CA Support & Author of ‘Tuesday Tips' on MyCA, and Dick Millar, President of CADRE. Sunday evening CA's new CEO, Michael Gregoire shared his vision and direction for CA as we all meet the changes in the way we conduct our businesses. Richard Branson, CEO of the Virgin Group gave his thoughts on the world Monday evening with humor and through his unique viewpoint. The mainframe sessions again underlined the fact that the mainframe is flourishing NOT dying. Last quarter IBM shipped the largest amount of MIPs in its' history. Sessions included ones on Change Data Capture (CDC), Performance and Tuning, and Where do you find the next generation of Application Developers.
