CA Communities Migration Issue Tracking

 

 

 

Known issues we are currently working thru with respect to the CA Communities Migration. This is a living document meant to document some of the known issues following the CA Communities Migration.

Problem: Mobile app access

UPDATE: Working for iOS, still working for Android


Problem: CA employee ability to reply by email

This is an internal issue for CA Employees only. This will be addressed in an upcoming platform update.

 

Problem: Exporting Calendar Event shows in PST

This will be addressed in an upcoming platform update.

 

Problem: Blogs on ca.com

Will return shortly.

 

 

Currently Working

 

10. Loggout from related SSO property not logging user out of Communities.

 

11. When coming to Communities while logged in through a related SSO property, the user needs to click login to refresh and start the session.

 

Completed

 

1. Problem: Link redirects

Some links came over broken. Global Community links and the Community directory links have been redirected.

 

2. Problem: Images missing

It seems some (not all) images did not come over in documents as part of the migration. Community Managers will be working with document authors on anything that requires updating. If you are the author of content, we ask that you please review your content carefully.

 

3. Problem: Google indexing

CA Communities have now been indexed.

 

4. Problem: Some PDFs not migrated over

These have been manually added.

 

5. Problem: Locale updates for phrase substitution

Replaced ‘Places’ with’ Communities’ for all English related locales.  Let us know if you are still seeing this, what page and what Locale you are using.
