Using the Jive Mobile App

There are many ways to interact with the CA Communities, and with the recent launch of the new platform, we now have a mobile app that will make participating in the communities easier than ever!

 

To download the mobile app, go to the app store on your mobile device and search for "Jive." You will then be brought to a page with multiple results. For the best browsing experience, please be sure to download the app with the white background and blue J (pictured below).

 

 

Once you have downloaded the app, you're ready to get started.

 

When you open the app, you will be brought to the Jive Mobile homepage, as shown below. To navigate to the CA Communities, you will need to type in "https://communities.ca.com" and click "continue."

From there, you will be brought to the CA Communities homepage. Please note, that in order to interact with the communities, you will have to log in. To log in, click on the grey "Log In" button on the top right-hand corner, and enter your CA Communities credentials.

 

  

 

Once you have logged in, you will automatically be brought to your inbox (see image below) where you can manage your notifications via the "All" or "Unread" views.

Clicking on the 4 lines on the top right of any page within the app will bring you to your options menu (pictured below), which will allow you to navigate throughout the site (via your custom streams or the "find" button) and create additional custom streams.

This is what your mobile activity streams will look like:

Once you have signed in to the app, you will remain logged in for 1 month without activity.  If you are active through the mobile app, that session will be extended. To manually log out at any time, you can go to the "Settings" page from the options menu, and click "Sign Out" on the top right of the screen.

**Please Note: Android users are currently reporting authentication errors when attempting to log in to the mobile app. We are working on resolving that issue. If you an Android user and are unable to log in to the mobile app, please take advantage of the site's mobile compatibility by typing https://communities.ca.com into your mobile browser.
