This TechTip pertains to Reporter Analyzer 9.0.

 

This can occur on Windows 2008 servers with RA 9.0.161. The problem is caused by insufficient permissions for the IUSR windows account used by IIS.

 

Solution:

 

Start > Run > dcomcnfg
Expand Component Services
Expand Computers
Expand My Computer
Expand DCOM Config
Navigate to nqreporter
Right click > Properties
Click on Security Tab
Customize and Edit 'Launch and Activation Permissions' 1
Add IUSR, check allow for all permissions
Open a command prompt and type 'iisreset'.
