There is a very convenient, easy to use feature within Automation Studio that allows the user to copy a component (including all actions and flows and properties therein) from one application to another. This saves time and energy since the user does not have to recreate the component from scratch for the second application, nor does the user have to go through a lengthier process of exporting the component to a file then importing it into the new application.
Steps
Step 1: In Automation Studio, navigate to the Design view, then the Components tab.
Step 2: In the Navigation Panel, select your application, then expand the tree to view its components.
Step 3: Right-click the component you wish to copy to open it context menu, then click Copy:
Step 4: Switch over to the other application you wish to duplicate the component within.
Step 5: Right-click the application and select Paste:
Now the component, and all actions and flows within, have been duplicated successfully under the new application:
