SSO = Single Sign On
It is an application which is installed and only works with all the NetQoS products. Typically it is configured at the NPC system which then pushes the configuration down to the other NetQoS products. By default there is a Short Cut created on the desktop for the guide and the configuration Tool.
Here is their location on disk:
D:\NetQoS\SingleSignOnConfigurationTool\SsoConfig.exe
D:\NetQoS\SingleSignOn\Documentation
When NPC is installed on a system with another NetQoS product the configuration tool will list both products.
When NPC is selected as the Product then Priority has two settings Remote Value and Local Override.
Remote Value is the configuration that will get pushed down to the other NetQoS applications.
When another Product is selected then there is only one option for Priority, Local Override, which provides the ability to override the configuration pushed down from NPC.
The tabs and options are explained in the guide which is installed on the system and a copy is attached here.
Additionally when clicking on one of the options the popup also provided an explanation of what it is.
To change a value from the default just check Override.
