The nhSnmpTool can be used to verify the version(s) of SNMP a device responds to.

To verify whether a device responds to SNMP v1:

nhSnmpTool -n -v1 -p <snmpPort> <ipAddress>

To verify whether a device responds to SNMP v2c:

nhSnmpTool -n -v2c -p <snmpPort> <ipAddress>

Note that in both cases above -p <snmpPort> can be omitted if the port is 161.

If you utilize SNMPv3 on your eHealth system and have SNMP Research DSSP installed on your system, see TEC519543 to verify whether a device is responding to SNMP v3.
