                z/OS Version 15.0


On behalf of CA Technologies, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services.  As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that CA IPC for z/OS Version 15.0 is now available.


New features for CA IPC for z/OS Version 15.0 include:


  • Support for CA Ideal Document Support. CA IPC Version 15.0 provides support for the storage and management of the new CA Ideal document entity. 
  • New VLSUTIL functions. CA IPC Version 15.0 delivers several new functions for the VLSUTIL utility. These include the ability to:


o   Copy members from one VLS library to another

o   Update the standard DD names used by the utility

o   Request operator approval before formatting or restoring a VLS library

o   Calculate space usage and availability in a VLS library

o   Print an 80-byte VLS member to a SYSPUNCH dataset
