Tuesday Tip: (CA 11)  Understanding what message U11D-8200-5 indicate?

CA Workload Automation Restart Option for z/OS Schedulers Tuesday Tip by Alisa Puckett, Sr. Support Engineer for Oct 15, 2014

   The U11D-8200-5 SSN=ssss DBID=dddd AREA=aaa AT nnn% USED message indicates
the Space Monitor task has found a CA WA Restart Option database using a
percentage over the warning percentage.  This warning percentage is set by
the config file parameter DBWARN.

U11D-8200-5 is for current allocation.  As long as there is space allocated
and available on volume the dataset resides on, it will go into the next extent.
The message will clear once the file goes into next extent (you have up
to 15 extents).

If there is a need to enlarge either the IXX or any other area of the 601 database,
technical documents  TEC469595 and TEC467508 have additional information
regarding the procedures to do so.  You can access these on the website at
support.ca.com or do a Google search to find them.
