How to run a packet trace in UCM  (Cisco SPAN only).

This may be asked by support to help investigate issues.  

 

To run a Packet Trace in UCM go to Administration -> Data Collection -> Collectors

 

Select the Collector you would like to run the trace on and click Edit

Click on Packet Trace

Set the amount of time you would like to run the trace for. Default 120 seconds

On the Collector open windows explorer to the following: \CA\VoipMonitor\SnifferFiles\

 

There will be a .BIG file. This is the packet capture.
