Release Automation KB: "Java Application Blocked" error when opening ASAP

The ASAP client might not launch for users whose security setting is set to HIGH or VERY HIGH in the Java Control Panel.

Some users might receive a "Java Application Blocked" error when trying to launch ASAP.

 

Option 1 - For Java 6/7/8

Add an exception to RA in Java Control Panel's "Security" tab, under "Exception Site List".

Option 2 - For Java 6/7

Modify the security setting to MEDIUM in the Java Control Panel .

Option 3

Contact support to receive a fix that corresponds with your version of RA.
