If you want this plugin to be available from Java WebStart, copy the JAR file to <em_home>/ws-plugins.
If installing on a locally installed workstation client, then copy the JAR to the directory specified in the zip file.
(using v9.7.1) when I select an agent the drop down button is not by default set to that name. You need to select it from the list (no practical with 100+agents). Is that what you observe?
The original intent was to allow you to view a one or two agent's metrics across two different timeframes. I've not used in 9.7 yet; the last time I used it was with some version of 9.5.
There is certainly room to improve, but this is not actively being developed internally. We can discuss this more over in the dev group.
no worries - I needed a mental beeak and wanted to see a fun thing .... but I do not think it works in v9.7.1 ...
Yeah, it was built back in Introscope 8.x days.
I've heard some good ideas kicked around for this over the years but no one has picked it up. Could be an interesting project.
Let me know over in Dev group what your wishlist is for it.
If you compare an agent with itself, I think its working in 9.7.1.
Tryed to compare two different agents, but did not work. How should I test it ?
I've never used it against two agents; I've only used it on one.
But I'm looking at the code now to see what the issue is.
Try putting workstation logging into debug mode and see what it says.
