Hello everyone, we've just published a new document on all the reasons to upgrade to the latest version of CA Single Sign-On (CA SiteMinder). This complements the CA Communities webcast we did on this topic back in February.
Recent releases offer significant new business value to our customers:
- CA Single Sign-On 12.52: The latest release of CA Single Sign-On (CA SSO) takes a significant step forward in security by enhancing protection against potential session stealing and replay with the CA Technologies, patent-pending Enhanced Session Assurance with DeviceDNA™ technology.
- CA Single Sign-On 12.51: This release brought social media sign-on support, facilitating frictionless access to protected applications for Facebook and Google users, helping businesses to better interact with their customers without forcing them to create new accounts. RESTful API support for authentication and authorization enabled more flexible SSO and more deployment options.
- CA Single Sign-On 12.5: The 12.5 release extended support for more application environments by supporting rich applications developed using Microsoft Silverlight®, Java™ Web Start, etc. Integration with CA Risk Authentication enabled CA SSO to use risk scoring in authentication and authorization decisions.
In addition to the above, we also have a detailed table showing which features are in each version. I hope you find it helpful.
