A Technologies is pleased to announce the General Availability of CA eHealth® r6.3.2.09. Release 6.3.2.09 is a Maintenance Update to r6.3.2.08, and includes all previous solutions delivered through the previous revision. Release 6.3.2.09 provides users with added security and more detailed and accurate performance management of their networked devices. Please refer to the bundled “ReadMe” document for eHealth 6.3.2.09 for detailed migration paths and installation steps.

Our mission for CA eHealth is to enhance its robust device monitoring capabilities in order to provide end to end monitoring of systems and networked devices. In line with this, eHealth 6.3.2.09 aids IT Management by providing key performance data trends as well as current device data, at a glance. Support for Environments Leveraging VMotion
Release 6.3.2.09 has successfully passed testing for performance when installed in environments with VMotion. The successful result allows us to officially support eHealth 6.3.2.09 in such environments where VMotion takes place. This is an important enhancement for many sites that leverage the benefits related to VMotion.
Key Device Certifications
Perhaps the most comprehensive and valuable content in this maintenance release is the new and updated SNMP device certifications. CA eHealth r6.3.2.09 includes new or updated support for 128 device models from major vendors such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Radware, Riverbed, Juniper and Extreme, as well as many others. Where to obtain CA eHealth r6.3.2.09
The CA eHealth r6.3.2.09 (the self-extracting install files for each of the supported operating systems) and associated ReadMe documents can be obtained via electronic download from our “Download Center” area on the CA Support site (http://support.ca.com).
Please fully review the ReadMe document, including the Migration Path and Install Instructions sections, before installing. It is important to note that a full backup of the eHealth database should be completed prior to patching, upgrading or updating any server system to r6.3.2.09, as a best practice. This backup will provide a roll-back method while minimizing the potential for data loss.
How to Update or Migrate to CA eHealth r6.3.2.09
Migration Path Information
Since all CA eHealth maintenance kits are cumulative, you can install the r.6.3.2.09 over any 6.3.2 revision in order to update. In order to determine your best migration path from an earlier eHealth revision, use the information in the migration table in the ReadMe; it describes update, upgrade, and migration paths from earlier CA eHealth versions.
