In UCM 3.9 we added support for SILKWide calls.

By default the SILKWide codec is added as a Video call. Codec Thresholds are type Audio call only.

In order to create a threshold for SILKWide you will need to make a change to the media type of the codec. (Note: This will be fixed in a later release)

Where do you configure Codec Thresholds?

How to change the SILKWide codec to be an audio call:

1) Log into mysql voip database on the UCM Console

     "mysql voip"

2) Update the type_codec table using a WHERE clause as follows:

mysql> update type_codec set mediatype=1 where codec=104;

Query OK, 1 row affected (0.01 sec)

Rows matched: 1  Changed: 1  Warnings: 0

3) Confirm results:

mysql> select * from type_codec where codec=104;
