Let's get started... if you have a question for our product experts, enter it here in the chat window.
from anil to Everyone:
Hi , Is there audio bridge I can dian into?
from Kristen Malzone (CA) to Everyone:
@Anil: No audio - all conversation happens here in the chat window.
from anil to Everyone:
oh OK.. This is my first time.
from Kristen Malzone (CA) to Everyone:
@Anil: Welcome! Do you have a question about CA Risk Authentication or CA Strong Authentication?
from anil to Everyone:
We have recently acquired this product. We would like to register a user's mobile device IMEI with their credentials. So basically, user is authenticated only if they come from the registered IMEI and correct credentials
from anil to Everyone:
Is is possible through either String or risk authentication?
from Kristen Malzone (CA) to Everyone:
@Anil - Great question! We'll get an answer to you shortly.
from anil to Everyone:
Also, is there a use case document for where this product is best used with CA SSO ?
from anil to Everyone:
and without SSO
from Mike Ries to Everyone:
@Anil: We canot collect IMEI on iOS devices because Apple does not allow it. We do return IMEI on Android devices, and you could likely build a custom rule to check that against a list, but it would be a solution limited to Android phones
from Sankha De(CA) to Everyone:
@Anil - there is no published document to explain the usecase regarding ingration of CA Siteminder. The AFM(CA Adapter) guide provides a guide how to integrate Advanced Auth and SiteMinder. You can find the guide here: https://wiki.ca.com/display/AA81/Installing+CA+Adapter
For usecases, CA Services team can help you in this regard.
from anil to Everyone:
Is that CA professional Services?
from Anand to Everyone:
The CA Technologies advantage
CA Advanced Authentication consists of risk-based evaluation plus a variety of secure two-factor
credentials and delivery formats. This functionality can be implemented separately or as a combined
solution that is managed from a single console. The multifactor credentials provide all of the benefits
you expect from a software-based approach and have patented key security to provide a secure, convenient
and cost effective solution that can scale reliably and be delivered on-premise or from the Cloud.
CA Advanced Authentication is integrated with CA SiteMinder to provide a strong combination of
authentication, single-sign-on, authorization, federation and centralized web access management. It is
part of a robust IAM security solution that includes identity management/governance, privileged user
controls, data loss prevention and directory.
