This procedure describes how to enable the Smart Interface for a monitored PDU.

It is a pre-req that the PDU in question contains Power and Current monitored data at breaker level.

1. Map your ecoMeter/UIM monitored values to the CAVI internal MAs for each breaker (PDU – P1C01 Current, PDU – P1C01 Power…). Both MA should be mapped (Power and Current) for each breaker.

2. Add Current Capacity to all breakers: Export the PDU via PDU export, populate the “Current Capacity” column for each breaker, re-import the PDU via PDU Import.

3. Run the refreshPDUsmartPanel.sh script (attached)

NOTE: Only the “admin” user can check PDU smart interfaces when AD integration is enabled.
