CAUAJM_E_50033 Error initializing tx subsystem: CAUAJM_E_10062 Failed to get initial configuration from Unicenter AutoSys JM Application Server(s)

the  as_server.$AUTOSERV file is filled with the following message

09/09/2015 08:57:27] CAUAJM_E_00051 Unable to create thread! [42a20438][0]:Resource temporarily unavailable

RESOLUTION:

---------------------

Follow the instructions below:

On HP itanium machines, processes running under PA-RISC can only

create upto 85 threads with the default OS settings.

For processes to be able to create more threads the following

configuration settings are required.,

1. Set kernel parameter (this requires a reboot)

pa_maxssiz_32bit=268435456

2. Create a file '.ariesrc' in the home directory of the owner of

autosys binaries (eg., user autosys) and enter the following

lines.,

/opt/CA/UnicenterAutoSysJM/autosys/bin/event_demon -heap_ssz 45056

/opt/CA/UnicenterAutoSysJM/autosys/bin/as_server -heap_ssz 45056

Note:

=====

In the above example the path '/opt/CA/UnicenterAutoSysJM' points to

$AUTOSYS.

Please change the path accordingly based on $AUTOSYS on your system.

3. Restart application server and scheduler.
