Issue:
Attempting to run REST querie against CAPC as an LDAP or SAML user produces a "403 Forbidden" error
Solution:
The "403 forbidden" error means the following:
"The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated."
If you are attempting to authenticate with an LDAP or SAML user account it will produce the 403 forbidden error. There are currently no plans to support LDAP or SAML user authentication for doing CAPC REST queries. For doing REST queries against CAPC only users who authenticate to CAPC are supported and will allow you to get past the 403 forbidden error.
