Issue:

Error: Cluster password authentication failure from ***. Connect failed. (unable to connect to 'port 5050') is seen on a standalone eHealth system when attempting to run an element location report

Solution:

This exception can be seen when you follow these steps:

1. Log on to the web host

2. Go to the Reports & Live Reports tab

3. Select an element in the left bar

4. Choose Live Reporting sub tab

5. Select the magnifying glass symbol (Run an Element Location Report)

Display of the "Element Location" link is controlled by the cluster license, but since everything is now licensed, the link will always show up, even on standalone machines.  The problem is that the link doesn't work, because there is no underlying cluster, and you get the error:

Error: Cluster password authentication failure from aces. Connect failed. (unable to connect to 'port 5050...'

The "Element Location" capability is not necessary on a standalone machine so there is no loss of functionality.  Given that the issue is minor and there is no loss of functionality, there are currently no plans to fix this issue by engineering
