CA Data Protection Tech Tip by Andrew Devine, Senior Support Engineer for September 29, 2015

 

 

By default replication logging on client and gateways is set to 'None'.  Replication logging can be turned on (Summary or Detail modes) by editing the machine policy in the Administration Console (please refer to CA Knowledge base article TEC1019403 for instructions.).  The detailed view provides information that can help you trace possible replication isssues.

 

 

Direction of Traffic:

Downstream traffic (for example; From a CMS to a Gateway) is denoted as --->

Upstream traffic (for example; From a Client to a CMS) is denoted as <---
