Following implementation of new interfaces on Cisco equipment,

the name of the QOS element discovered is truncated.

Sample

Before:  RTR1TLSETH.contry.compagny.org-G2/0/1.136-QOS-816643000-OUT-D1

   After:  RTR1TLSETH.contry.compagny.org-G0/0/0/0.136-QOS-1872132379-OUT

Because the Length of the Element string is limited to 64 Characters  it possible to

exclude the "device domaine name"  from the element name .

Set the variables:

Naming - Truncate by Regular Expression -  NH_NAME_SRVC_PAT           to   (\..*)$           / ( Default ) = <empty>

                                              Naming - Use DNS - NH_USE_NAME_SRVC  to   sysName     / ( Default ) no

Run a new device discovery

The Element name will more short and the whole device description will visible.
