Not to be outdone by warko01 in his Plano Product Showcase , we had one of our own right here in Islandia, NY. Similarly, it showed off CA Products that teams were working on or used right here on our campus. The products ranged from mainframe products such as CA File Master Plus, CA Intertest, CA SysDump to how we use our own products in GIS such as API Gateway and SSO and CA Release Automation. The star of the show was clearly DevOps with a focus on CAI (Continuous Application Insight) since that's the product we work on here in Islandia.
The event lasted 2 hours and we were able to generate a lot of internal excitement especially with CA World being right around the corner. We even had other engineering teams come up us eagerly wanting to get their hands on our product so they can use it to accelerate their own development and testing efforts by providing an unprecedented view into what their running application is doing and being able to automatically generate test cases and virtual services.
The experience of bringing everyone together in person with a common bond of showing off cool technology products was simply electrifying. If we generated this much excitement here, I can't wait to see what our customers think at CA World. I'm very much looking forward to our next Product Showcase.
