TECH TIP: Can't open SOI Console getting 'Unable to launch the application

When trying to launch the SOI Console, you would get the following error:

 

Unable to launch the application

 

Click on the Details button, you would see

Error: Found unsigned entry in resoruce:http://.........:7070/sam/lib/jdom.jar


In the Launch File tap you would see the following....

Solution:

The problem is on the java client system where you are trying to open the SOI Console.

Open the Java Console

In the General tap, go to the Temporary Internet Files section  and click on the 'Settings..' button

In the Temporary Files Settings, you need to enabled 'Keep temporary files on my computer.'

Click on the OK button and try openning the SOI Console.
