Rodrigo
Hi, I am aware of some language limitations of PAM (for spanish OS). Is there any deadline to fix this? we are proactively offering PAM, but i am not sure what issues we can finde with this limitation. could you explain? tx
Michael Dullea
Hi @Rodrigo - CA PAM is offered for English only OS's at the moment. We do plan to offer localized support for PAM in the future and we will communicate out the target delivery dates via the standard channels (i.e. Communities site) once they become available.
Adolfo
HI everyone, i have a concern, when will be it possible to protect winservices with the new CA PAM version.. Tx
Eduard Palomeras
What are the plans for Active Session Management?
Dustin Aubrey
Are there any posted roadmap details about how the Xceedium/PIM integration will proceed? For example, which existing components of each (if any) may go away, is there some targeted date for a release that integrates both product sets, etc? These are just examples, I'm really just looking for general info.
Michael Dullea
Hi @Adolfo - I believe you are referring to winservices protection for Windows 2012 R2 operating systems, correct? As you probably know we are running into challenges in providing this support due to additional hardening capabilities that Microsoft introduced with this OS version. We are currently assessing the feasibility but we do not yet have a timeframe. We will provide an update once we have one.
Michael Dullea
Hi @Dustin - Yes, our plan is to integrate CA PAM (formerly Xsuite) with our fine-grained access controls, now renamed CA PAM Server Control. The integration will be very similar to what we have between our Shared Account Management module and our fine-grained controls. Right now, we are targeting some time in H1 2016 for this delivery.
Luigi
Hi everyone. We have some years implementing CA PIM. At this moment, we are able to download / dell / implement xSuite? or is not available now? Thanks!
Binish
Is there any release date for Unix endpoints. The latest one is 12.8 SP1..There is a known bug with ControlMinder and UNAB integration causing the system performance. As per the discussion with the ControlMinder and UNAB developers there is no permanent fix for now and they said it will be on with SP2...I dont know if this is the right place to ask this question...
Michael Dullea
Hi @Luigi - I'm not sure I fully understand your question. If you are with CA can you reach out to me directly?
Michael Dullea
Hi @Binesh - The target release date for 12.8 SP2 (Unix) has not been finalized yet but targeting some time in H1 2016 timeframe.
Luigi
Thanks Mike. We are a CA Partner. Sorry, I wrote "dell", but i mean "sell". At this moment can we download xSuite and implement this module into final customers? Thanks
Binish
Thanks Michael, Is UNAB product going to stay for longer or will that be replaced with anything.
Michael Dullea
Hi @Binesh - Yes, UNAB will stay. It will be part of CA PAM Server Control.
Steven McCullar
Hi @Luigi, we will have one of our Partner managers reach out to you about that after this event.
