What does Partial Trap Support in MIB Tools mean?

Document ID:  TEC1542408

Question:

When looking at mapped trap in MIB tools seeing "partial" - What does this mean?

Answer:

Traps can be globally supported in Spectrum when it is available for use by all model types.

However “Partial” here means that the trap is supported only for limited model types.

You can right click on the trap and click “Edit Traps” which will open the “Event Configuration” Editor.

Select the “Event Options” tab and under the scope, you should see for which model type it is supported.
