CA eHealth® r22.214.171.124 is Generally Available (GA)

CA Technologies is pleased to announce the General Availability of CA eHealth® 126.96.36.199. CA eHealth r188.8.131.52 is a maintenance update to r184.108.40.206, and includes all previous solutions delivered through that
version. Please refer to the “ReadMe” document bundled in the product download for upgrade paths and installation steps. If you have any related questions or need clarifications for specifics called out in the CA eHealth Installation Guide or release ReadMe, please contact your local CA Support team.
Updates in CA eHealth® r220.127.116.11
The mission of CA eHealth® r18.104.22.168 is to update and enhance the device monitoring capabilities of the eHealth product for broader coverage and ease of IT Management, end to end. CA eHealth® r22.214.171.124 contains the following product updates:
Key Device Certifications
The most valuable content in this maintenance release are the numerous new and enhanced device certifications. CA eHealth r126.96.36.199 includes new support for over 75 devices from major vendors such as Cisco and others. The goal of the Unified Certification team is to deliver significant device certifications in every release. Please refer the ReadMe for the full list of devices certified in eHealth 188.8.131.52.

CA eHealth r184.108.40.206 has been certified with the following OS platform versions:
- Solaris 10 (2.10 SPARC)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0* or higher
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 or higher
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8 or higher
- Windows 2008 and Windows 2012 R2 (64-bit)
*Note: RHEL 7.x support started in eHealth r220.127.116.11, and continues through this 18.104.22.168 release.
Where to Obtain CA eHealth® r22.214.171.124
The CA eHealth® r126.96.36.199 (the self-extracting install files for each of the supported operating systems) and associated ReadMe documents can be obtained via electronic download from our “Download Center” area on the CA Support Online site (http://support.ca.com). Please fully review the ReadMe document, including the Migration Path and Install Instructions sections, before installing eHealth 188.8.131.52. It is important to note that a full backup of the eHealth database should be completed as a best practice prior to patching, upgrading or updating any eHealth server system to r184.108.40.206. This backup will help ensure point-in-time roll-back success while minimizing the potential for data loss.
How to Update or Migrate to CA eHealth® r220.127.116.11
Migration Path Information
Since all CA eHealth maintenance kits are cumulative, you can install r.18.104.22.168 over any 6.3.2 revision in order to update. To determine your best migration path from an earlier eHealth version, use the information in the migration table in the ReadMe; it describes update, upgrade, and migration paths from earlier CA eHealth revisions.
Maintenance Releases such as CA eHealth® r22.214.171.124 are recommended for all eHealth installations to ensure users are able to take advantage of the latest device certifications and updates. It is strongly recommended that you plan to keep current with CA eHealth® Maintenance Kits across your eHealth installations in order to get the most from the product’s monitoring capabilities, as well as the latest security and other enhancements.
