Subject: General Availability Announcement for CA Client Automation

As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that CA Client Automation 14.0 is now available.

Some of the new features included in CA Client Automation 14.0 are:

CA Patch Manager Intelligent Roll-Up Delivery – CA Patch Manager supports a new IntelliRollup roll-up type, which contains only metadata of the constituent patches, which makes it light.

CA Patch Manager Functionality in Web Admin Console – CA Patch Manager functionality is enhanced and integrated into Web Admin Console to provide a single interface across the product.

OSIM UEFI Support – CA Client Automation OSIM functionality is enhanced to deploy Windows Operating systems to Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) targets. The same image can also be deployed to Legacy BIOS targets.

Support of Product Installation for Non-Root Users – CA Client Automation product installation on Unix, Linux, and Mac systems is now possible with a non-root user having administrative privileges on the system.

DSM Reporter Enhancements – CA Client Automation has enhanced DSM Reporter by including the Intellisig Scan reports.

Software Delivery Scheduler – Software Delivery is enhanced by adding a default item to CAF Scheduler, to execute Agent at configured schedule.

ENC Enhancements – ENC infrastructure is enhanced to support non-persistent communication among the components.

Product Integration – This release provides integration support for CA Service Desk 14.1.
