This tech tip will show you how to quickly determine which OID's are queried in a vendor certification. This knowledge doc applied to Performance Management 2.6 and 2.7
Question:
How do I determine which OID's are being queried in a vendor certification seen in the Performance Management UI?
Environment:
2.6 and 2.7
Answer:
1. First you must add the "Internal Name" to the list of vendor certifications
- Within the CAPC UI go to Administration > Data Aggregator > Monitoring Configuration > Vendor Certifications
- Put your mouse on the "Name" column > hit the down arrow > choose "Columns" > add "Internal Name"
2. Go to the following URL: http://<DA>:8581/typecatalog/certifications/snmp/<Internal Name>
The above steps will allow you to see what OID's are being queried though a particular vendor certification
