Description:

How are the WebMethods JDBC Connection Pool metrics Count values derived?

Solution:

WebMethods supports creating functional aliases for JDBC Connection Pools.

Introscope reports everything based on the JDBC Connection Pool, so the functional alias will not appear.

However the count value does take into account the combined amount of the connection pool name and the functional aliases.

The count value represents number of data points which are averaged to calculate this metric value. Reporting data by functional alias is currently not supported.
