  Introduction:


CA APM CE (CEM) reports are based on aggregated statistics of your business transactions.

CA CEM allows you to specify the report view time frame in various ways:

 

Time Frame
Hour    
Day    
Week    
Month    
Year


Question:

 

When someone generates a report for "Previous Month", does that mean that it will pull the previous calendar month's report or the past 30 days report?

 

 

Environment:


CA APM 9.x , CA APM 10.x

 

 

Answer:

 

Here are the Default Time Frames

 

Daily: Today, Yesterday

 

Weekly: Current Week, Previous Week

 

Monthly: Current Month, Previous Month

 

Yearly: Current Year, Previous Year

 

Here are the Custom Time Frames

 

Custom Day: Any day in the last 30 days

 

Custom Week: Any week in the last year

 

Custom Month: Any month in the last two years

 

 

 

So selecting the Previous Month and Last 30 days will produce different results.

 

"Previous Month" is based on the calendar month vs. "Past 30 days"
