We are excited to announce the latest update to CA SaaS App Security – this update was deployed on Friday August 5th, 2016 at 9 PM EST in production and is now available for all customers.
What’s new in this product update
Custom SAML – our newest member of the Connector family!
Boost employee productivity by enabling single sign-on to hundreds of web apps with our brand new custom SAML connector. Customers can now go beyond our portfolio of rich connectors and quickly configure SAML partnerships between SaaS App Security and SAML 2.0 compliant web apps in minutes.
Sort out conflicts with Global Rules Resolution
Conflicts may crop up if multiple rules matching the same criteria specify different values for a field. Administrators can now resolve these quickly and get their end users going with the right entitlements to applications. Admins can do this individually or at a global level and even save the resolution to mitigate any future conflicts.
Enhanced security with mandatory Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Administrators can now make MFA mandatory for all users – this is enforced at first login and increases security levels for each user.
Support for multiple factors for Multi-Factor Authentication
Users are not restricted to just one mobile number any longer – register multiple numbers so you can receive the security code even if you don’t have your primary phone.
Improve supportability with MFA reset by Administrators
Administrators are now empowered to reset all MFA factors for a user who may be locked out. This allows the user to log back in and configure new factors for MFA.
