Aug 09, 2016 03:21 AM

Error: “The email address you specified has already been used to establish an account.”

What is cause of error?

During registration on CA.com if you are presented with the below on-screen message saying “The email address you specified has already been used to establish an account", then that email address more than likely has already been registered on CA.com.

Resolution:

  • Check your email’s In-Box, Spam, or Junk Mail folders for the Registration Confirmation Email and follow the community content “Registration Confirmation Email” to complete your registration process.
  • If you are not able to locate the Registration Confirmation Email, then proceed with using "Forgot Password" option to trigger a password reset email
  • If after using the "Forgot Password" option you are presented with on-screen message “The username you entered is not known to our system.” please contact our Customer Care team to assist in addressing your account problem.
