CA Data Protection r15.2 is now GA!
In this release we have included several marquee features, continuing our investment in key area, focusing on competitive threats in customer environment, improve productivity and ease of use for our Customers.
New features for CA Data Protection 15.2 includes:
Office 365 Integration
CA Data Protection can be integrated with Microsoft Office 365 to monitor journaled emails. You must create a journal rule in Microsoft Office 365 to send messages through either Microsoft Exchange Server or the IIS SMTP Server. CA Data Protection integrates with Microsoft Office 365 to monitor emails using the Importer or EMC SourceOne.
Integration with Microsoft Exchange Server 2016
CA Data Protection following components integrates with Microsoft Exchange Server 2016.
- Exchange Server Agent
- Outlook Agent
New Columns in the Detailed Issue Report
The Detailed Issue Report Results includes the following additional columns:
- Event ID
- Processed Timestamp
- Issue Created Date
- Issue Reviewed Date
Processed Time-stamp in Standard Search and Event Summary
The standard search results now include a new column, Processed Time-stamp. This column shows when an event was processed in the database. The event summary also shows the processed time-stamp.
Adding Comments during Bulk Audit
While performing a bulk audit of the review queue, reviewers can now optionally, add comments.
Search by Event ID in Standard Search
Search using Event ID to quickly locate an issue.
New Variable in User Notifications
A new variable %externaldomain% is added to User Notification. You can use this variable to display all external domain names.
BB2email Utility Includes Forwarded Recipients during Conversion
The BB2email utility can now parse the ForwardedTo recipient addresses of Bloomberg email, and converts these into EML format.
Partitioning of RLS Tables for SQL Server
You can now partition RLS tables and this partitioning improves the performance of queries in SQL Server.
The following platforms are certified with this release of CA Data Protection:
- Microsoft Windows 10
CA Data Protection Endpoint Agents and iConsole can be used with Microsoft Windows 10. iConsole is also certified with Microsoft Edge Browser.
- Microsoft Office 2016
CA Data Protection Release 15.2 is certified with Microsoft Office 2016 to work with Exchange Server 2010 SP3 and Exchange Server 2013.
