Question:

How do I get Siteminder to redirect users with expired password to my custom .fcc instead of out of the box smpwservices.fcc?

Users with expired password are currently being redirected to the out of the box smpwservices.fcc instead of our custom .fcc which has a different look and feel.

Environment:

Siteminder 12.52 SP1

Answer:

The reason you are getting redirected to the smpwservice.fcc and not your own custom .fcc is because this has to be defined in the password policy configuration.

There is a field in the password policy that allows you to define the url to redirect the user when the user password expires or gets locked out

"Redirection URL" on the general tab of your configured Password Policy

This url will have to be the one that points to your custom .fcc instead of the out of box smpwservice.fcc.
