Hi Danish!
from Kristen Palazzolo (CA) to Everyone:
Welcome to Office Hours! How can we help you today?
from Danish Aziz to Everyone:
Hi,
from Kristen Palazzolo (CA) to Everyone:
Do you have a question for our SSO team?
from bob maiello to Everyone:
hey I joined late.. wanted to ask if version 12.6 was GA for general download yet?
from Kristen Palazzolo (CA) to Everyone:
Hey Bob - Thanks for joining!
from Rob Lindberg (CA) to Everyone:
@Bob - 12.6 is still in Early Availabilty access only.
from bob maiello to Everyone:
ok... we are starting to put together what version we should upgrade to next year. Concerned that if other customers have not used 12.6 yet, we will be testers for it.
from Danish Aziz to Everyone:
We are upgrading to 12.52 SP2 in near future, is it better to wait for 12.6 official release?
from Rob Lindberg (CA) to Everyone:
@Bob - we have gone through not only a full internal QA cycle, but involved a number of customer in a validation program, prior to it's EA release. There have been a couple requests for 12.6 through early access already as well. The EA process is just to help us track adoption while we finish up the GA of the Access Gateway, which is happening soon.
from bob maiello to Everyone:
ok.. is the product support matrix out for it yet ?
from Rob Lindberg (CA) to Everyone:
@Danish, I would recommend going straight to 12.6, since that includes the rearchitecture of the policy server to 64-bit. You can obtain the kits today through the Early Access process.
from bob maiello to Everyone:
platform support matrix out yet?
from Rob Lindberg (CA) to Everyone:
@Bob, yes it is. https://support.ca.com/phpdocs/7/5262/5262_12_6_platform-support.pdf
from bob maiello to Everyone:
thanks... I could not find it on the siteminder product support page...
from Rob Lindberg (CA) to Everyone:
@All, if you are interested in the Early Access for 12.6, look here https://communities.ca.com/docs/DOC-231169912
from Rob Lindberg (CA) to Everyone:
@Bob, the PSM is there on this page : http://www.ca.com/us/services-support/ca-support/ca-support-online/product-content/recommended-reading/technical-document-index/ca-siteminder-informational-documentation-index.html#PSM so it's possible you may just need to refresh
from bob maiello to Everyone:
Solaris has been dropped as a supported OS? One must use Windows 2012 or Redhat ?
from Rob Lindberg (CA) to Everyone:
@Bob, correct. For 12.6 the PS is support on Windows and RH. Solaris will continue to be supported on the 12.51 and 12.52 versions. The 12.6 Access Gateway (formerly SPS), soon to be released, will continue to be supported on Solaris as well as RH and Windows
from bob maiello to Everyone:
What about the 12.6 webagents? I dont see those listed in the support matrix?
from Rob Lindberg (CA) to Everyone:
@Bob, we did not release 12.6 versions of web agents. Existing versions of web agents are supported with the 12.6 policy server
from Kristen Palazzolo (CA) to Everyone:
Please take the SSO Survey: https://survey.medallia.com/?product-communities&product=CA%20Single%20Sign-On
from Kristen Palazzolo (CA) to Everyone:
Or, use this link: https://survey.medallia.com/?product-communities&product=CA%20Single%20Sign-On
from bob maiello to Everyone:
Oh? Not sure what to say about that... So we should use 12.52SP1CR5 webagents (the only ones available for download).
from Rob Lindberg (CA) to Everyone:
@Bob, you are correct. If you are installing new web agents, use the 12.52 SP1 CR5 kits.
from Kristen Palazzolo (CA) to Everyone:
