CA Technologies is pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) of CA Mediation Manager r3.0. This release aligns with the General Availability (GA) of CA Performance Management r3.0. Together the solution achieves another exciting milestone delivering innovative carrier-class network performance management for communications service providers and enterprises with mega-sized networks.
The release introduces new and updated device as well as critical bug fixes.
New Device Pack for CA Performance Management
The following device packs are developed in this release of CA Mediation Manager 3.0 for CA Performance Management:
Accedian V-NID Manager
Helps the customer to monitor the service performance management, network performance and SLA monitoring in a continuous 24/7 manner such as packet loss, packet and gitter.
Designed to poll iControl servers (IOT devices), It helps the customer to monitor Connected device count, Broadband connectivity, Cell connectivity and XMPP queue depth.
Updated Device Pack for CA Performance Management
The following device pack is updated in this release of CA Mediation Manager 3.0 for CA Performance Management:
ALU/Nokia 5620 to support SAM r14
Helps the CAPM customers to monitor the SAM managed CSP NEs along with traditional network monitored by CAPM.

Please review the Release Notes completely before installing, including the Special Considerations and Install Instructions sections. It is important to note that a backup of the CA MM system(s) being updated prior to r3.0 installation should be created, as a best practice and fall back method.
